Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information CronosNow collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. We have tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
Who we are
CronosNow is a brand of TradeNexo LLC, 30 North Gould Street, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. For the purposes of UK and EU data protection law, TradeNexo LLC is the data controller for the information described here.
If you have any question about this policy or about how we handle your data, email privacy [at] cronosnow [dot] com.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information.
Information you give us. When you request a quote, book a Profit Diagnostic, or download the eCom Profit Playbook, we ask for your name and email address, and depending on the form, your average monthly revenue, store URL, the sales channels you use, and any notes you choose to add. If you become a client we will collect considerably more, including financial records, and that is covered by your engagement letter rather than this page.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived, and how you interact with the site. This comes from cookies and similar technologies, described in our Cookie Policy.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
Where UK or EU law applies, we rely on the following bases:
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you asked for. Basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one.
- To send you marketing emails about eCommerce accounting, including the Profit Playbook series. Basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- To measure and improve the site and our advertising. Basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site performs and whether our advertising works. You can opt out using the browser and provider controls described in our Cookie Policy.
- To keep records and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Basis: legal obligation and our legitimate interest in running the business properly.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only so far as they need it:
- Jotform — receives and stores your form submissions.
- ActiveCampaign — our CRM and email platform, holds your contact record and sends the emails you have opted into.
- Calendly — our scheduling tool. If you choose to book a call, Calendly receives the name, email address and booking details you enter.
- Google — Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, for site measurement.
- Meta — the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, so we can measure and target advertising. Where we send information to Meta through the Conversions API, identifiers such as your email address are hashed before they leave our systems.
- Our hosting and IT providers, who store the site and our records.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers are largely US-based, so if you are in the UK or EU your information will be transferred outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK and EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-US and UK-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider participates.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and marketing data for as long as you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterwards, and client records for as long as required by law and professional obligations. When we no longer need information, we delete it or anonymise it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it.
- Ask us to transfer it to another provider.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
- Opt out of marketing, using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing us.
To exercise any of these, email privacy [at] cronosnow [dot] com. We will respond within the time the law allows. If you are in the UK you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EU, to your local supervisory authority.
California residents
If you are a California resident you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in a way that requires an opt-out beyond the cookie controls on this site.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Where the change is significant we will tell you by email or through a notice on the site.
